Leading UK kitchen retailer, In-toto, cooked up a storm to celebrate the opening of its new Bristol store with BBC's celebrity chef Simon Rimmer.
The official showroom opening on the 29 April at Whiteladies Road, Clifton, saw Simon Rimmer set the kitchen alight in front of over 50 people by preparing a three course meal in the stores state-of-the-art demonstration kitchen.
The new Bristol store is one of a nationwide network of In-toto retail outlets which are celebrating their 30th anniversary on the UK high street. Owner, Philip Whitehead, said: "The evening was a huge success and we were delighted that so many people came to celebrate and support us including Simon Rimmer. His passion for food truly reflects and complements our passion for kitchens - he created a fantastic atmosphere and was an inspirational addition to our open night!
"We've had amazing feedback from existing and potential customers and the event provided the perfect opportunity for them to see the new ranges and designs we have to offer."
For Philip, the In-toto story is one of a very personal business success as the Clifton showroom is his second after opening In-toto Swindon in 2007. He added: "We feel the recession has actually worked in our favour as more people look to improve their homes rather than move. With kitchen fitting being more about creating a new lifestyle as well as a new look, people are prepared to invest in something that not only looks fantastic but will stand the test of time.
"It is this change in attitude and demand for quality that has led us to open another store and we're hopeful that our knowledge, expertise and personal service will continue to see us grow. We had a great response from the people who joined us on the evening and having support from Simon Rimmer is testament to the quality work we do and the kitchens we create. "
