Saturday, June 1st was our Live - in-store cooking demonstration with AEG here at in-toto Kitchens Southport.
AEG Home Economist Richard Allen organised all the cooking and came up with some lovely treats, including Blueberry muffins, freshly baked olive bread with an oil/vinegar dip, risotto, Thai-chicken skewers and steamed salmon with green asparagus.
AEG Account manager Helen and Richard explained key functions of the different appliances and answered questions from attending guests about use, benefits and functionality of the food probe, steam cooking, benefits of steam ovens, and differences between conventional gas hob cooking and induction hobs.
Our customers enjoyed great tasting food whilst learning about the latest cooking technology and after seeing the demonstrations some of the customers even discussed upgrading their appliances to both steam ovens and induction hobs.
Visitors also entered a prize draw with a chance to win a set of AEG pots and were all handed a goodie bag with fantastic recipe cards of the food tasted on the day.
